We were awakened this morning by a phone call from another member of the Elder's Quoroum this morning telling us that our church services were canceled for the entire stake. What a surprise for us because the amount of snow that has fallen here is not even close to the amounts we have grown up with in Idaho Falls! We have been told that the city of Boise has run out of sand for the roads 3 times, and the city of Nampa won't plow the roads all the time because they don't want to plug the drains so when the snow does melt, the water will have a place to go- this sounded strange to me!
When we did get the call we were joking that we have never had church canceled for the Super Bowl before, but it doesn't do us any good since all of the snow has covered our antenna and we can't even get the local channels!
Kellen is out shoveling a few older people and widow's sidewalks right now, but when he returns want to make a snowman so I will update with pictures later!

hey thanks for the comment on my blog! I am so excited that you have one now and your little girl! Arent they fun! Ya we are here in shelley and the south stake was cancelled too but not us!!! they are like 6 blocks from us! Crazy! Anyway love you guys!
